Great spaces often begin with a simple intention. For Roger, it was about giving back to his team by providing meals - and through collaboration and design, that intention was transformed into a space that supports, connects, and recognises his people.
When Roger first approached us, his goal was simple — he wanted to provide meals for his staff as a way of saying thank you. It was a gesture rooted in appreciation, and he was looking for the right way to bring that vision to life.
He reached out after being recommended to us, and as our conversations unfolded, we discovered there was already a sense of familiarity. Roger recognised some of our previous work, and we had also collaborated extensively with the construction company involved in his project. This shared background created an immediate level of trust and understanding.
From there, the process became highly collaborative. We spent time discussing what Roger truly wanted to achieve — not just in terms of functionality, but in how the space would feel and support his team. The design evolved naturally from these conversations, shaped by both practical needs and the underlying intention of appreciation.
Working closely alongside the interior design team and other consultants, we ensured every element aligned with the broader vision. The result was more than just a place to provide meals — it became a space that reflects care, connection, and recognition for the people who use it every day.
