Metlifecare Fairway Gardens

A bespoke commercial kitchen that brings quality and hospitality into the care environment.

Hostservice designed and built a high-quality bespoke kitchen for Metlifecare’s Fairway Gardens Care Suites. Working as a nominated subcontractor to main contractor CMP Construction, we delivered a kitchen that combines commercial functionality with an inviting connection to the dining space.

The open servery is a defining feature, linking the kitchen directly with the resident dining area. Framed by warm timber tones, decorative greenery and black pendant heat lamps, it brings a restaurant feel to the space while keeping food preparation and service visible. The kitchen sits comfortably within the carefully finished interior, becoming part of the dining experience.

Behind the servery, stainless steel work surfaces, a central preparation island and a dedicated cooking line create a practical commercial workspace. The equipment includes stacked combination ovens, a cooktop, fryers and a griddle beneath a substantial extraction canopy, providing a range of cooking options for the culinary team.

The attention to detail extends across the kitchen and its presentation. Dark splashback finishes and metallic canopy detailing complement the surrounding interior, while the stainless steel serving counter provides a dedicated point for plating and passing meals through to the dining area.

Bringing kitchen design and construction together allowed Hostservice to deliver a cohesive, purpose-built solution suited to this bespoke care facility. The completed space reflects the quality of the wider project and gives the culinary team a professional environment in which to prepare and serve residents’ meals.
